Concept-based learning focuses on understanding the ideas behind information and how those ideas connect. Instead of memorising a definition without context, a student asks what the concept means, why it matters, how it works, and where it can be applied. In school subjects, this can make revision more meaningful because one strong concept can help answer several different questions. For Classes 9 and 10, concept-based learning can be used in Science, Maths, and other subjects by connecting explanations with examples, diagrams, questions, and real situations. Memorisation still has a role, especially for terminology and formulas, but understanding gives those facts a structure that makes them easier to use.
